What You'll Do
Participate in Project Fennel, a remote initiative focused on enhancing machine translation through human insight. You'll evaluate short, informal text translations from English into Ukrainian, ensuring they accurately convey the original meaning. Each task involves reviewing translated content and assigning a rating from 1 to 5 based on fidelity to the source.
When multiple translations are presented, you’ll select the one that best preserves tone, clarity, and intent. Brief written justifications for your ratings help refine AI models. Tasks are divided into two types: assessing meaning accuracy and choosing preferred translations based on overall quality.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Ukrainian
- Strong understanding of English to interpret source texts accurately
- Ability to provide consistent, thoughtful feedback

Compensation
Earn based on completed tasks, with payment per unit at a language-specific rate. Estimated earnings are $15.91 per hour when completing 12 units at $1.326 each. At a pace of 10 hours per week, this translates to approximately $159 weekly. Actual income depends on individual speed and experience.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, independent contractor position with no set hours. You may complete tasks at your convenience from any location.
