As a Ukrainian speaker, you'll play a key role in refining machine translation technology by assessing the quality of translated content. This remote opportunity allows you to work on your schedule, reviewing short, conversational texts and ensuring translations accurately reflect the original meaning.
What You’ll Do
- Examine translated samples and rate them on a 1–5 scale based on meaning preservation
- Compare multiple versions and select the most accurate and natural-sounding option
- Write concise justifications for your evaluations
- Assess clarity, tone, and fidelity to the source material
What We’re Looking For
You should have native-level Ukrainian proficiency and strong English comprehension. Experience in translation, linguistics, or language instruction is a plus. We value precision and the ability to articulate why a translation succeeds or falls short.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with no fixed schedule. You’ll contribute to AI development by supporting training and evaluation processes that shape how systems understand and render Ukrainian. Your feedback directly influences the quality of future translation tools.
Compensation
Earnings are based on completed tasks, with rates varying by language. Estimated pay is $15.91 per hour when completing 12 units at $1.326 per unit. Actual income may vary depending on task speed and volume completed.
