HP is hiring a UI/UX Software Design Intern for a 12-week paid summer internship. This role focuses on designing AI-powered product experiences and offers the potential to convert to a full-time position.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, product managers, engineers, and designers to define AI-driven product concepts and user experiences.
- Translate user needs into experience flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models.
- Contribute to product discovery, user research synthesis, and experience validation.
- Help design human-AI interactions that are ethical, explainable, and trustworthy.
- Support rapid experimentation, prototyping, and iteration across AI product features.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a four-year college and completed first year of master level degree.
- Returning to school following the internship and graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 202X, and not require sponsorship in the future.
- Background or coursework in UX/UI, Product Design, or related fields.
- Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and intelligent systems.
- Strong curiosity about how people interact with products and technology.
- Ability to think in systems, journeys, and experiences—not just screens.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills.
