Signet Jewelers is seeking a UI Engineer L4 for the Observability Engineering team. In this role, you will partner with engineers across the organization to build tools and infrastructure that enable fellow engineers to gather timely and actionable insights to help the service operate reliably. You will work on foundational services relied upon by 3500 engineers, combining many observability signals into usable, actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Partner with engineers across the organization to build tools and infrastructure that enable fellow engineers to gather timely and actionable insights.
- Build stunning products that deliver measurable value to users.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and diagnose symptoms.
- Build API driven, data rich and intuitive UI products.
- Build scalable and maintainable applications.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of frontend experience working in the software industry.
- Proficiency building API driven, data rich and intuitive UI products.
- Proficiency building with GraphQL and Node.js.
- Proficiency in building scalable and maintainable applications using React and TypeScript.
- Experience working on consumer and enterprise products over multiple release cycles.
- Exhibit great communication & writing skills.
- Give and receive candid feedback constructively.
- Are self-led but highly aligned with your teammates.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with product and design teams.
- Experience working in Observability.
- Experience collaborating with backend engineers to design maintainable systems.
