Catapult Learning is looking for a Tutor to guide and empower students at Carmel Elementary School. You will provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing, helping students be the best they can be.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
- Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
- Communicate and conference with parents regarding student progress.
- Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills.
- Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure supervision of students, including escorting them safely to and from sessions.
- Establish and maintain required student forms and files.
- Attend and document meetings with Company supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
- Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
What We're Looking For
- An associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution; or at least two years of study (48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
- Experience tutoring Kindergarten and 1st-6th grade students.
- Must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
- Availability to work Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Nice to Have
- Teaching experience preferred.
