Catapult Learning is seeking Summer Tutors to provide essential instructional services to students in Newton, MA. In this role, you will help close learning gaps by diagnosing deficits and delivering targeted lessons in reading, mathematics, and writing, all within a supportive framework designed for student success.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods.
- Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
- Communicate and conference with parents, providing information on student progress.
- Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills.
- Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure supervision of students, including escorting them safely to and from sessions.
- Establish and maintain required student forms and files.
- Attend and document meetings with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
- Maintain an inventory of educational materials and supplies.
What We're Looking For
- A Certified State of Massachusetts Teaching License.
- Completion of an FBI/BCI background check.
