Prep Academy Tutors is hiring an Elementary School Tutor to provide in-person, personalized academic support and guidance to primary and junior level students. In this role, you will work one-on-one with students following the Ontario curriculum to help them succeed.
What You'll Do
- Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge from the Ontario curriculum.
- Create and provide supplemental assignments to help students achieve a greater understanding of the material.
- Deliver both remedial and enrichment support for students.
- Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
What We're Looking For
- Hold registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
- Be qualified to teach in a Canadian Province or Territory outside of Ontario.
- Be a current teacher candidate pursuing a bachelor of education.
- Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College.
