About the Role
This role involves delivering clinical instruction to nursing students in diverse medical environments throughout the Western region. The instructor travels to designated facilities to supervise, mentor, and evaluate student performance in alignment with curriculum requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct clinical supervision to nursing students during rotations
- Travel regularly to assigned healthcare facilities across Western states
- Ensure student compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Evaluate student performance using established assessment tools
- Collaborate with site coordinators to arrange clinical placements
- Provide constructive feedback to students on clinical skills
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and evaluations
- Serve as a liaison between academic program and clinical sites
- Support students in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world settings
- Monitor adherence to professional conduct and ethical standards
- Assist in resolving student challenges during clinical rotations
- Participate in faculty meetings and training sessions
- Stay current with nursing education standards and practices
- Ensure all clinical activities meet accreditation requirements
- Communicate regularly with program leadership on student progress
- Promote a culture of safety, inclusivity, and professionalism
- Model best practices in patient care and clinical decision-making
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new clinical cohorts
- Coordinate schedules with multiple clinical partners
