CHEP, a global leader in supply chain solutions under Brambles, is looking for a Transportation Analyst for a 6-month contract. You will be the subject matter expert for the Tender Management System and all transport operational processes, providing crucial internal and external support for the transportation team and carrier base.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant carrier modes and the proper balance of transport modes within managed regions.
- Collaborate with carriers and customers to drive overall supply chain efficiencies.
- Manage carrier relationships, ensuring performance is tracked, evaluated, and improved based on cost, capacity, and service.
- Support the procurement of transport services, including managing tender processes, onboarding new carriers, and negotiating rates.
- Track key performance indicators such as carrier on-time performance, cost per load, and trailer utilization, and report findings.
- Analyze transportation data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Support or lead transportation-related projects to improve overall supply chain performance.
- Oversee execution of the Tender Management System including upgrades, enhancements, testing, and training, including SOP preparation.
- Identify additional functionality opportunities and design sustainable solutions by leveraging technology.
- Design and monitor KPI reports to measure on-time service, transportation spend, accessorial charges, routing guide compliance, and tender acceptance.
- Lead monthly KPI reviews with various stakeholders.
- Analyze new business initiatives involving transportation, including rate simulations, spend analysis, and capacity requirements.
- Review carrier service and work with stakeholders to determine areas for improvement.
- Maintain repository for service agreements and provide RFPs to carriers.
- Create reporting to ensure an accurate freight accrual process.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
- Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging environment.
- Experience with transportation and Tender Management software systems.
- Proficiency working with and organizing large amounts of data into meaningful reports.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with TMS Software, specifically BlueYonder.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Skilled in developing analytical frameworks, visual intelligence tools, and executive dashboards.
- Required English language proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in supply chain, transportation, operations management, data science, computer science, industrial engineering, statistics, or machine learning.
- Experience in supply chain management.
- Data science experience.
- Experience with QlikView.
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis, Blue Yonder (JDA), data science, and QlikView, Power BI, SQL, Excel, or PowerPoint.
- French language proficiency.
