Vodafone UK is looking for a Transformation & Business Value Manager to lead change across its Networks Deployment & Innovation (ND&I) division. In this role, you will ensure transformation, innovation, and value delivery are measurable and aligned with the wider Networks strategy.
What You'll Do
- Own the ND&I transformation roadmap and delivery governance.
- Lead the design-to-adoption of a unified ND&I operating model, ensuring legacy ways of working converge and are consistently applied across all domains.
- Lead alignment across all ND&I domains and with cross-functional teams, external partners and vendors, and joint ventures to ensure transformation initiatives are integrated, scalable, and future-ready.
- Lead ND&I change strategy covering adoption, behavioural shifts, and business readiness.
- Oversee communications, training, and engagement across all ND&I teams to support transformation delivery.
- Ensure new processes, tools, and Ways of Working are understood, embedded, and sustained across ND&I.
- Shape and govern ND&I’s innovation pipeline, ensuring high value feasible ideas move forward.
- Work with key stakeholders and wider enterprise to shape high-value opportunities and ensure they have clear path to delivery.
- Challenge business teams to proactively identify AI/automation opportunities that drive impactful improvements.
- Own the ND&I value framework ensuring benefits, KPIs, ROI and Opex efficiencies are clearly defined and governed.
- Lead the creation of business cases and own benefits realisation, ensuring financial modelling and ROI tracking for all ND&I transformation investments.
- Own value reporting, with clear visibility of efficiency and performance outcomes.
- Lead ND&I-wide capability uplift by identifying critical skills gaps and orchestrating development through HR, domain leads and external partners.
- Embed new WoW models, role clarity, consistent governance rhythms, and decision-making forums.
- Work with HR to establish long-term capability pathways.
- Act as the strategic bridge between ND&I, Networks and enterprise functions to ensure alignment, decisions and priorities are governed.
- Ensure ND&I domain leads are accountable for adoption, measurable improvement, and sustained value delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Proven transformation leader capable of driving large‑scale change across complex telecoms environments, particularly within network deployment and operations.
- Track record of designing and integrating cross‑domain operating models—often in the context of mergers, joint ventures, or major organisational shifts.
- Deep expertise in organisational design, capability uplift, and behavioural change management.
- Strong commercial acumen in building business cases, delivering Opex efficiencies, and tracking financial benefits with precision.
- Highly skilled at influencing across senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and specialist groups such as process, AI, data, and automation.
- Adept at governing transformation delivery and ensuring measurable value realisation across multiple domains.
- Operates comfortably in ambiguity, simplifies complex strategic narratives, creates clarity for leaders, and continuously steers the organisation toward adoption of new ways of working.
- Strategic operator with strong execution discipline, benefit accountability, and the ability to shape outcomes across domains through influence rather than hierarchy.
- Expert at simplifying complexity and creating clear, actionable narratives for ND&I and senior stakeholders.
- Drives behavioural change, capability uplift, and sustainable adoption of new operating models, tools, and ways of working.
- Challenges constructively to ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable business impact and not just activity.
