Colliers is looking for a Transaction Specialist to provide proactive administrative and financial support services. In this role, you will be instrumental in processing deal transactions and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all documentation within our commercial real estate team.
What You'll Do
- Process deal files and transactions, working closely with brokers to collect all required documents and forms.
- Review and manage deal documentation necessary for revenue recognition.
- Prepare commission calculations for agreements and oversee the commission billing process, including tracking receivables.
- Track and apply expenses to specific deal pools for broker accounts.
- Provide deal compensation information to the Research Department and Brokers upon request.
- Bill clients for marketing expense reimbursements.
- Assist Auditors by obtaining necessary documentation for revenue recognition.
- Track broker license expirations in the deal-tracking system.
- Create and manage listing files and monitor all archived Deal and Listing Files.
- File all processed listings and deals into folders on network drives.
- Maintain Vendor folders with current W9’s and historical invoices.
- Work closely with Vendors, responding to inquiries and ensuring billing information is current.
- Review invoices and process expenses in Coupa to the correct accounts and cost centers.
- Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of commercial real estate transaction support experience.
- Understanding of the commission payout process.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Great stakeholder management skills and comfort with consistent follow-up.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or a similar field.

- Compensation: $34.22/hour to $45.67/hour.
