Wawanesa is looking for a Training and Communications Coordinator – Personal Lines Underwriting to play a key role in shaping how training and information are communicated to our underwriting teams. You will bring structure, consistency, and creativity to training communications, helping teams stay informed, aligned, and confident in their work.
What You'll Do
- Develop and publish clear, engaging communications for the Personal Lines underwriting team, including announcements, job aids, and reference materials.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand and compliance standards.
- Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging across all underwriting and training communications.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including managing invitations, registrations, and attendance tracking.
- Develop and maintain a centralized training calendar and communicate upcoming learning opportunities in a timely and engaging way.
- Monitor training completion and participation, preparing monthly reports and insights for leadership.
- Conduct peer reviews of training and communication materials to support quality and consistency.
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams to support continuous learning and development.
- Contribute to the overall success of training programs by supporting additional initiatives and projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset.
- Experience in Underwriting or the Insurance Industry is an asset.
