First American is looking for a Trainer to oversee, develop, and deliver training programs that meet organizational and learner needs. In this role, you will partner with business leaders to identify training needs, standardize training initiatives, and track the success of these programs.
What You'll Do
- Partner with management to identify and develop training solutions that solve business issues.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of training metrics and measurement components.
- Conduct and facilitate general and specific training programs for organization employees and/or external customers.
- Create instructor and training materials including course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids.
- Keep records, gather and analyze information from evaluations, measure results against business objectives, and suggest improvements.
- May travel to remote locations to deliver training.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years of training experience.
- 3-5 years of Title Insurance Industry experience.
- Familiarity with instructional design theory, learning principles, and effective teaching methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences and strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, facilitation, critical thinking, and organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems.
- Knowledge of assigned group(s)’ business practices and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
