Accountabilities - Manage, coach, and expand the Trading and Risk Management team to maintain operational excellence and consistent performance. - Create, execute, and track risk strategies to control liabilities, protect exposure, and maximize trading results. - Monitor daily trading operations, making immediate decisions and adjustments based on market dynamics and wagering activities. - Construct and distribute risk reports and analytical dashboards to leadership, transforming complex trading and market information into actionable strategies. - Partner with interdepartmental teams to implement risk initiatives and advance business goals. - Validate operational adherence to internal protocols and applicable regulatory standards. Requirements - Minimum 5 years experience in sports betting, interactive gaming, or comparable trading and risk management positions. - Demonstrated success leading operational teams in high-stress, rapidly changing environments. - Comprehensive knowledge of sportsbook mechanics, wagering categories, liability control, and exposure management. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. - Technical expertise with trading platforms, risk management systems, and data analytics tools for real-time decision implementation. - Europe-based with fluent English communication skills. - Advantageous: Experience developing trading/risk teams, project management expertise, regulatory environment understanding, and familiarity with governance and risk management technologies.
