We are currently seeking a talented Project Manager to lead and manage workforce development, unemployment insurance, and vocational rehabilitation software solution implementations for state and regional clients. This dynamic role demands a professional who can oversee comprehensive software development lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality solutions that precisely meet client requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management expertise combined with technical insight, business strategy, and superb communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups. You will excel in a dynamic environment, expertly balancing multiple initiatives while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and generating measurable organizational impact. Occasional travel to the primary operations center in Florida may be necessary. Accountabilities - Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive IT project plans encompassing tasks, milestones, resource allocation, and status tracking. - Collaborate with designers, engineers, quality assurance professionals, vendors, service providers, and clients to achieve project milestones efficiently. - Manage daily operational aspects of multiple projects, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and client expectation alignment. - Support technical teams in defining development tasks and quality assurance teams in designing robust test strategies. - Conduct thorough reviews of team deliverables prior to client submission, enforcing stringent project management methodological standards. - Drive effective team and client communication, providing transparent updates on project status, potential risks, and mitigation approaches. - Conduct training sessions and facilitate client onboarding to ensure seamless adoption of workforce development and unemployment compensation solutions. Requirements - 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within workforce development, unemployment insurance, or vocational rehabilitation domains. - Comprehensive understanding of employment and training programs, including federal reporting requirements and systems like Wagner-Peyser, Workforce Investment Act, and Trade Adjustment Assistance. - Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent professional experience. PMP, CAPM, SCM certification or formal project management training highly advantageous. - Advanced proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and relational databases with fundamental SQL query capabilities. - Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and relationship management capabilities. - Outstanding oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, coordinate geographically distributed teams, and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Robust knowledge of software development lifecycle and system design principles, including Internet, intranet, extranet, and client/server architectures.
