Crocs, Inc. is hiring a Tooling Manager to lead our tooling engineering function. You will be responsible for supervising a team of engineers and technicians, developing strategies aligned with production goals, managing budgets, and ensuring all operations meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and guide tooling engineers, technicians, and related staff.
- Formulate and implement strategies for tooling design and maintenance.
- Establish and manage the tooling budget for cost-effective operations.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve tooling efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with external tooling suppliers.
- Develop and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all tooling operations comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage all bulk production and establish SOPs for mold manufacture, inspection, modification, and maintenance.
- Oversee all additional mold manufacture, inspection, delivery, modification, and maintenance.
- Ensure all Crocs design and modification requirements are followed at the mold shop and shoe factory.
- Provide expert advice on mold development.
- Manage all transfer mold and last delivery schedules, including inspection, quotation, and shipping for other Crocs’ global branches.
- Manage the team and optimize resources to ensure work efficiency, product quality, and timely delivery.
What We're Looking For
- College degree or above.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD building and 5 years of experience in Tooling.
- Background knowledge in CAD design software, especially Catia or Rhino.
- Strong knowledge and work experience in injection IP/rubber/compress EVA/TPU/PU/TPR/ABS/PVC compound unit bottom and parts or related mold manufacture areas.
- Good oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, planning and organizing skills.
