Equip Health is hiring a Therapist - Eating Disorder to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy in a fully virtual clinic setting. You will join a mission-driven team dedicated to ensuring everyone with an eating disorder can access treatment that works.
What You'll Do
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a telehealth setting.
- Implement treatments such as family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), and cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID for patients across the lifespan.
- Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, delivering 20-26 hours of direct care per week.
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, and mentors.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the team through the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Engage in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
- Maintain licensure in your home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training programs.
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Utah.
- Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, cultures, and varying degrees of acuity.
- Passion for evidence-based care and eating disorder treatment, and expanding access to care.
- Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week (available until 8pm in your patient caseload's primary time zone).
- Enthusiastic, strong team player.
- Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment.
- Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings.
- Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma.
- Case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

- Compensation: $71,000 to $105,000 Annually (Base Pay + Performance-Based Bonus Potential).
