NVIDIA is looking for a Test Floor Engineer to work in a complex engineering environment handling challenging IC testing activities. NVIDIA is a learning machine that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve. In this role, you will perform production testing control and problem solving of silicon integrated circuit products.

What You'll Do

Process material through equipment including testers, handlers, probers, and sorting equipment.
Utilize technical and troubleshooting skills to debug hardware and software issues on the Amkor test floor.
Monitor pre-test preparation of material and hardware, including setting up the test environment as per engineer requests.
Ensure testing is executed and functioning correctly throughout the testing process.
Debug and resolve issues related to equipment and tests.
Communicate with local planning, engineering, management teams, and remote NVIDIA engineers via face-to-face, email, phone, online conferences, and instant messaging.
Work independently and in a team environment as task types change.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor technical degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
More than 5 years of proven experience supporting test floor operations.
Good verbal/written communication skills in English.
Computer literacy and basic data analysis skills.
Flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations.
Very high problem solving ability.
Must be a self-starter capable of leading own activities as well as supporting team activities.
Ability to work on off-shift with minimum of supervision.
Flexible in work hours.
Willing to work during night shifts when required as part of NPI or production issues.

Nice to Have

Knowledge in SW programming (C++, Perl, Linux, Python…).
Knowledge in data analysis (JMP).
Understanding of electronic circuits.
Proven understanding of Automated Test Equipment (IC testers, probers, handlers, system Level test and reliability equipment).
Proven experience in test wafer sort (Wafer probers and probe cards).
