Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and document RF automated test equipment systems using Python for space and defense-grade RF and microwave devices
- Shape and improve organization-wide software architecture and code reuse strategies
- Establish and enhance software development practices including version control, code reviews, and coding standards
- Collaborate with product engineers to create ATE test solutions that verify device performance under diverse conditions
- Produce test data sheets for customer deliverables and reporting
- Develop and manage Python-based applications for processing test data
- Generate customer data packages using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Maintain legacy ATE software written in LabVIEW and Keysight / Agilent VEE
- Modernize outdated ATE systems by migrating them to current platforms, primarily Python
