Datahouse AG is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to deliver reliable, high-quality software through scalable and efficient test automation. In this role, you will play a key part in building and improving our automated testing capabilities, ensuring fast feedback cycles and supporting robust product delivery.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Build and execute API tests to validate backend services and integrations.
- Contribute to improving our automation framework and testing strategy.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and help the team quickly identify root causes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality at every stage.
- Actively participate in discussions, raise questions when blocked, and help drive solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining test automation solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI automation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience creating and executing API tests.
- Ability to analyze failures and collaborate to find root causes.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
