We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer (m/f/d) with strong manual testing expertise and a curiosity for automation for SkyCell AG. In this role, you will take ownership of ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications, APIs, and critical workflows. You’ll design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, coordinate testing efforts within the team, and actively contribute to release and regression activities.
What You'll Do
- Perform functional, integration, and exploratory testing across web applications, mobile applications, and APIs
- Validate functional requirements to identify gaps, clarify edge cases, and ensure they are complete and testable
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases to ensure product quality and validate functional requirements
- Support release management activities, including coordination of regression testing
- Maintain and execute regression test suites, ensuring critical workflows are consistently covered
- Coordinate testing efforts within the team to ensure efficient test coverage and timely delivery
- Write and review integration test scenarios using Gherkin syntax
- Monitor automation runs and investigate failures on a daily basis
- Maintain and curate test data set and test data generation utilities in JavaScript
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Stay updated with industry trends and tools for continuous improvement
- Cultivate team-wide adoption of best practices across QA activities
