Work as a Senior Automation QA Engineer on a major cloud transformation initiative for a global leader in financial and audit software. Focus on building and evolving automated testing frameworks, defining QA strategy, and embedding quality checks within CI/CD workflows to ensure high product reliability and system performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve the project's overall QA strategy
- Build, enhance, and support a scalable automated testing framework to ensure test reliability and long-term sustainability
- Analyze application architecture, code, and business features to determine optimal areas and methods for test automation
- Define, implement, and manage Quality Gates by establishing quality standards, setting up validation rules, and integrating them into development processes
- Partner with DevOps teams to design CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing and enforce quality controls
- Carry out functional testing as needed, combining automated checks with targeted manual validation to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Support test planning and documentation by contributing test scenarios and high-level validation flows when required
- Execute performance and load testing, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations for system and process improvements
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with emphasis on API and integration testing
- Proven expertise in test automation using .NET Core and .NET 8 (LTS)
- Strong background in developing and maintaining automated API tests
- Experience creating test documentation, test plans, and defining test processes
- Practical experience using Playwright for test automation
- Proficiency with Postman for API testing and validation
- Experience using performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or K6
- Familiarity with test management platforms like Zephyr Scale
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools such as Copilot to aid in test automation development and maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience in UI test automation using .NET
- Knowledge of SonarQube for code quality analysis
- Experience with CodeQL for code security and analysis
