Citco is hiring a Test Automation Engineer to join a cross-functional team using agile methodologies. You will be instrumental in building and supporting an AWS cloud native application, with a focus on an automation-first testing approach.
What You'll Do
- Identify test cases applicable to user stories.
- Plan, build, execute, and maintain automated E2E and API tests using Node.js and Playwright.
- Update regression tests to meet new requirements.
- Take ownership of tasks such as CI/CD updates and other AWS DevOps work.
- Work closely with developers and business owners to define testing needs.
- Ensure sufficient coverage, consistency, and scalability on test runs.
- Perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work.
- Participate and contribute to all team activities such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with either Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.
- 1+ years of experience with Node.JS.
- Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes: debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles, and refactoring.
- Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, and IAM.
- Experience in the financial services industry and/or Real Estate industry.
