National General Holdings Corp., a member of the Allstate family of companies, is hiring a Territory Sales Manager for the Los Angeles/Orange County area. This field-facing role is responsible for exceeding new business production, direct written premium, and loss ratio goals by managing agents in an assigned market to drive profitable growth.
What You'll Do
- Position and promote the full suite of National General Insurance products into Independent Agency Partners.
- Deliver on the business unit’s annual execution plan for your market, focusing on Specialty Vehicle & Household package coverages.
- Act as the key company liaison within your assigned market to independent agencies and industry associations, being field-facing 4 days per week.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
- Collaborate with Independent Agencies to create, review, and adjust agency-specific strategic business plans.
- Use production data to identify trends, capitalize on opportunity, and address agency-level performance.
- Increase the quote and issuance flow of your assigned market.
- Consult with Independent Agents, using your knowledge of the channel and competitors, to gather market intel.
- Manage product integration with industry technology and comparative rating platforms.
- Collaborate with Product, Pricing, and Operations to perform stakeholder and risk analysis on market issues.
- Develop and maintain your market’s new agency appointment pipeline and support National Accounts initiatives.
