The Hershey Company is hiring a Territory Sales Associate

The Hershey Company is looking for a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate to represent our iconic brands in the Wilmington, NC area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are available and well-presented across a variety of retail locations within your assigned territory.

What You'll Do

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in your assigned territory.
• Execute retail sales and merchandising plans with various retailers.
• Achieve merchandising objectives using Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, and promotions.
• Report daily activities using a company-provided tablet.
• Manage a sales territory which varies in size, number of retailers, and location.

What We're Looking For

• Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
• Reside or be willing to commute within specified territory zip codes.
• Ability to drive long distances for multiple daily sales calls.
• Ability to lift 10-40 lbs regularly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently.
• Ability to use tablet technology.
• Daily access to wireless internet.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice to Have

• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour.

Work Mode

This is a local-city role. You will drive your personal vehicle to multiple store locations daily within the Wilmington, NC territory.
