As a Territory Account Executive, you'll lead market expansion by directly engaging healthcare facilities across your assigned region. Your primary focus will be identifying new partnership opportunities, conducting in-person meetings and demonstrations, and closing deals that align with client needs and company goals.
What You'll Do
- Acquire new business through proactive outreach and field-based selling to long-term care and other healthcare facilities
- Nurture and expand relationships with current partners to increase engagement and revenue
- Conduct site visits, deliver product overviews, and address stakeholder concerns in person
- Stay informed on local market dynamics, facility operations, and competitive offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support
- Log all activities and track pipeline progress in the CRM system
- Spend the majority of your week—up to four days—traveling within your territory
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with both clinical staff and administrative decision-makers
- Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently
- Demonstrated persistence and initiative in achieving targets
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally 60–80% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- For early-career candidates: 0–2 years in sales, customer service, or business development roles; eagerness to grow into leadership
- For experienced candidates: 3–5+ years in outside sales, account management, or business development; proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and mentor peers
- Familiarity with healthcare operations or marketplace platforms is a plus
