The MGH Institute of Health Professions, part of Mass General Brigham, invites applications for Term Lecturer faculty positions. Appointed on a semester-by-semester basis, you will teach between 3-9 credits per semester across various health professions programs, contingent upon student demand. Your primary focus will be delivering high-quality didactic content and supporting student success.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality instruction in alignment with your area of expertise and program needs.
- Develop and manage online course content using Desire to Learn (D2L) where applicable.
- Publish and maintain the course syllabus.
- Oversee course management and content delivery.
- Conduct assessments and assign grades for student performance.
- Provide student mentoring and academic support, including designated office hours.
What We're Looking For
- An advanced or terminal degree in a relevant field.
- Previous clinical experience in applicable programs.
- An active professional license for programs requiring licensure.
- A commitment to graduate student success and a demonstrated dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion.
- The ability to work independently and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, administration, staff, patients, and external partners.
