About the Role
The technician will deploy to various locations to install, service, and repair animatronic systems, ensuring reliable operation and addressing technical issues in the field.
Responsibilities
- Install animatronic equipment at client sites
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems
- Diagnose technical issues in electronic components
- Repair malfunctioning animatronic figures
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting
- Follow safety protocols during service calls
- Test system functionality after repairs
- Document service activities and outcomes
- Respond to emergency repair requests
- Calibrate motion controls for accuracy
- Inspect wiring and connections for wear
- Replace defective parts in the field
- Coordinate with clients during service visits
- Adhere to manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain inventory of spare components
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow electrical safety standards
- Support system upgrades when needed
- Communicate technical issues clearly
- Work independently in remote locations
- Meet scheduled service deadlines
- Ensure compliance with operational standards
- Assist with system deactivation when required
- Provide feedback on equipment performance
- Follow post-repair validation procedures
