The Huntington National Bank is looking for a Customer Experience Banker (Teller) to play a key role in retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. You will proactively identify financial goals and needs while processing transactions accurately.
What You'll Do
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Become proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit and lending products.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, follow-up programs, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, and communication.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- Military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role also qualifies.
- A Bachelor's Degree is an alternative qualification.
Nice to Have
- 1 year or more in customer service within banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking platforms.
