NOVARES, a manufacturer of automotive plastic parts, is seeking a Technician Machine Setter. You will be responsible for guaranteeing and optimizing the good working order of machines across three progressive levels, from production changeovers to technical tutoring and process optimization.
What You'll Do
- Prepare tooling for quick production changeovers while complying with standards, including consulting production planning.
- Carry out changeovers, mounting tooling and performing level 1 maintenance to minimize changeover time.
- Launch manufacture by minimizing start-up rejections, performing start-up checks, and displaying required documents.
- Monitor process parameters and product quality, intervening to reattain standards and participating in progress actions.
- Analyze and diagnose processes, propose corrective actions, and analyze micro breakdowns to provide technical expertise.
- Provide technical tutoring and training to APU teams, operators, leaders, and setters.
- Participate in team development by solving technical and quality problems and carrying out product/process technical updates.
