Sandvik is looking for Technical Writers to join our global team. You will be responsible for shaping how our advanced equipment, systems, and digital solutions are understood and utilized worldwide. Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and service professionals, you will develop precise, user-focused documentation that serves as essential tools for both internal teams and customers.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain technical documentation in compliance with industry standards and Sandvik’s brand voice.
- Translate complex engineering and product information into clear, structured content for a global audience.
- Create and manage spare parts catalogues, manuals, and user documentation.
- Manage the content lifecycle using content management systems.
- Ensure all documentation supports global safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to digitalization initiatives, such as interactive manuals and smart documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a technical writer.
- Familiarity with structured writing, XML authoring tools, and content management systems.
- A technical background or education within engineering or technical communication.
- Strong writing skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and a clear, structured communication style.
- A proactive approach, taking ownership of work and striving for excellence.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, or industrial technology.
- Knowledge of Swedish or other languages.
