CloudLinux is looking for a Technical Writer Intern to join the ELS team and help improve client-facing content for our Linux-based products. You will turn complex technical ideas into clear, structured documentation, working on installation guides, FAQs, and use cases.
What You'll Do
- Write and maintain installation/setup guides, usage instructions, FAQs, and technical use cases.
- Collaborate with developers, support, and marketing teams to gather information.
- Track product changes and update documentation accordingly.
- Review content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Suggest improvements to documentation structure, navigation, and workflows.
- Help build internal knowledge bases and onboarding materials.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent written English (C1 or higher).
- Basic experience with Markdown, Git/GitHub.
- Familiarity with Linux systems.
- Comfortable working with dry or incomplete technical content and turning it into user-friendly documentation.
- Strong communication skills and persistence in gathering needed information.
- Technical background (e.g., currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science or related field).
- Understanding of client-facing documentation principles (clarity, structure, usability).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with VuePress, Vite.
- Previous experience writing documentation or instructions.
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt quickly.
