PCCW is hiring a Technical Writer specializing in Document Management. In this role, you will manage a broad range of documentation projects and document control activities across the organization, ensuring compliance, timely processing, and high-quality content.
What You'll Do
- Manage a broad range of documentation projects for different teams across the organization.
- Undertake document control activities, ensuring all documentation is processed in accordance with procedures in a timely manner.
- Manage logging, distribution, filing, and archiving of controlled documents.
- Maintain registers including document and records registers.
- Produce documentation and create templates supporting information security management systems, such as policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to create content for internal stakeholders and customers.
- Review and update documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards and contract requirements.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new documentation tools and methods to support development and improvement efforts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure processing is completed consistently and according to procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communicator with a background in network or software engineering who can write, publish, and maintain accurate, high-quality content.
- Experience in writing internal policy and procedure documentation.
- Ability to interpret highly technical information and present it in concise language for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in document management systems, related methodologies, strategies, and systems.
- Highly developed organizational skills: the ability to manage and prioritize multiple documentation projects across different teams, products, and services.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to multi-task and work independently while thriving in a geographically distributed team environment.
- Sound conceptual, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an arts and language field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
