Workday is hiring a Technical Support Delivery Analyst to provide expert support for our Financials and Spend product domains. This role involves balancing a queue of financial support cases, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating across teams to deliver solutions. What You'll Do
- Handle a queue of financial support cases, prioritizing issues based on severity and customer impact.
- Work through problems, motivate change, and implement effective solutions.
- Handle time-critical issues with a focus on resolution.
- Build solid, trusting relationships with our customers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and Development to determine solutions or workarounds.
- Balance ownership of an existing case load while troubleshooting newly discovered issues.
- Maintain your knowledge of new product functionality and compliance changes.
- Maintain required certifications and training for the role.
- Get involved with initiatives, councils, and projects that inspire your passion for support.
- Use your energy, drive, and resourcefulness to encourage, mentor, and coach others throughout the company.
- Participate in rostered shifts as part of our 24/7 Global Support program (Support Around the World).
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with SaaS Financial Enterprise software (e.g., SaaS, Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, Zuora, Infor, Taleo, onsite ERP, Peoplesoft, Kronos, Cornerstone or similar) in a support, implementation, or consulting environment.
- Confident communicator (verbally and in writing), who collaborates with business users and peers at all levels and of varying technical abilities.
- Basic knowledge or previous experience with Object Oriented Programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, C#, Ruby, PHP, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, or similar).
- Ability to read and analyze application log files.
- Basic knowledge of SQL syntax to read existing scripts and queries.
- Basic experience with an API client tool (SoapUI, Test Studio, and/or Postman/Bruno).
- A strong level of familiarity with financial terminology and business processes relevant to the role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience building internal and/or external facing documentation (KCS experience a plus).
- Previous experience with web service integrations that use SOAP, WSDL, XML.
- Previous experience performing in-depth log analysis.
- Previous experience with health monitoring tools.
- Previous experience using and writing SQL basic queries.
