Join Social Discovery Group as a Senior QA Automation Engineer and help shape the quality of core products in the social discovery space. You'll work within a distributed international team of IT professionals and digital nomads, ensuring robust testing across complex digital platforms.
What You'll Do
- Development of automated tests (70%)
- Manual integration and functional testing (30%)
- Testing marketing landing pages with complex logic
- Testing multi-channel customer communication products (email, web-push, app-push, SMS, in-app)
- Testing traditional websites within integration projects
- Preparing and updating test plans based on functional and technical requirements
- Supporting integrations with other company services
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Java (or similar, in case you are ready to switch)
- Understanding of web application development and testing principles
- Backend and frontend testing
- Knowledge of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, etc.) and server response codes
- Proficiency with HTTP tools (Postman, curl) and experience with Fiddler/Charles
- Ability to track errors and analyze logs (Kibana, Graylog)
- SQL skills at the query level (data editing, table search)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Ability to maintain test documentation
- Experience with test management systems (TestRail, TestIT, etc.)
