Google is hiring a Technical Solutions Consultant Manager for the Developer and Experiences team in Google Cloud. In this role, you will empower customers to build secure and reliable applications by providing a compelling end-to-end experience and enterprise-grade platform. You will act as the primary technical conduit and own the customer's technical success from initial engagement through sustained outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Manage the customer's entire technical journey by architecting, prototyping, and implementing bespoke solutions to close technical gaps and ensure business outcomes.
- Serve as the primary technical conduit between customer usage and the core engineering roadmap, codifying field learnings into reusable product patterns and feature requests.
- Secure and convert high-value accounts into long-term adopters, measuring success through adoption growth, usage lift, and business expansion.
- Transform customers into passionate advocates by ensuring technical and business outcomes are met, cultivating relationships, and driving improvements in advocacy scores.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in coding, software development, technical consulting, or a related engineering role.
- 5 years of experience managing a technical team in a cloud computing environment or customer-facing role.
- 2 years of experience with building Generative AI solutions.
- Experience writing production-level code in one or more programming languages.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
- 7 years of experience architecting and delivering end-to-end solutions in a cloud environment.
- Experience in building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality and code health.
- Experience in consulting, and technical consulting in a customer-facing role, with solid results working with a variety of customers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

- Compensation: $234,000-$325,000 + equity
