Medtronic is looking for a Technical Services Specialist to support the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this full-time, customer-oriented remote role, you will be the central contact for all technical and application-related questions, ensuring the reliable, safe, and effective use of our advanced ablation technologies.
What You'll Do
- Provide remote technical support for cardiac ablation equipment to Health Care Professionals and internal customers.
- Serve as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
- Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating required engineering support.
- Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
- Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and have ownership of continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure all documentation and system entries are fully complete promptly.
- Focus on remote support, with occasional travel for required training domestically and internationally.
- Maintain on-call availability between 7AM-7PM (availability rotates between colleagues).
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or a medical degree with technical skills and experience, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- An advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English is required (C1/C2 level).
- Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task, and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Experience with analyzing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in another European language is a distinct advantage.
- Experience in a medical technical environment, and more specifically experience with cardiac ablation equipment or procedures.
Technical Stack
- Cardiac ablation equipment such as Affera, PulseSelect, or CryoConsole.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate with local commercial and field service teams across EMEA and other technical service specialists.
