About the Role
This position is responsible for end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, focusing on engineering and systems development. The recruiter will engage with hiring managers, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure alignment with organizational needs and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Identify and attract qualified candidates for engineering and technical positions
- Conduct initial screenings to assess technical background and role fit
- Collaborate with hiring teams to understand team needs and role requirements
- Manage candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Track applicant progress using applicant tracking systems
- Coordinate interviews and provide scheduling support
- Communicate updates to candidates and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical roles
- Attend career fairs, university events, and industry meetups to source candidates
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and metrics
- Partner with teams to refine job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring practices
- Evaluate sourcing strategies and recommend improvements
- Stay current on technology trends relevant to the roles being filled
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Facilitate onboarding coordination for selected candidates
- Provide market intelligence on talent availability and compensation trends
- Develop relationships with passive candidates in targeted technical fields
- Use Boolean search and social sourcing techniques effectively
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive hiring information
- Support executive-level hiring when required
- Drive time-to-fill improvements without compromising quality
- Promote employer branding through candidate interactions
- Gather feedback from hires and hiring managers to improve processes
- Align recruitment strategies with long-term workforce planning
