A Place for Mom is looking for a Technical Product Owner to represent business needs and ensure engineering teams understand product functionality and industry use cases. In this remote role, you'll bridge the gap between technical and business requirements, supporting the Authorizations technology team and collaborating closely with cross-functional groups to keep development on track.
What You'll Do
- Represent business needs and ensure engineering teams understand product functionality and industry use cases.
- Analyze and clarify requirements, especially edge cases, before development begins.
- Keep engineers focused on business priorities and prevent unnecessary technical diversions.
- Participate in backlog management, standups, and Scrum meetings.
- Facilitate communication between engineering and business stakeholders, including occasional client (payer) interactions as needed.
- Help resolve implementation challenges and support cross-team collaboration when required.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience working in a Product Owner position within the healthcare technology space.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and leading agile ceremonies.
- Experience gathering technical and functional requirements and writing user stories.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work on concurrent projects at a given time.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in AWS.
