The Technical Product Manager XOps will lead strategy, technical execution, and product outcomes for F5's Unified Console platform under the XOps framework. This role is central to empowering DevOps, SecOps, NetOps, and AppOps teams with AI-powered observability, proactive insights, and unified telemetry workflows across F5 environments such as BIG-IP, NGINX, and XC.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the voice of XOps teams (DevOps, SecOps, AppOps, NetOps) leveraging F5 Unified Console and AI Insights across their BIG-IP, NGINX, and XC environments.
- Translate complex customer workflows into actionable product requirements with a focus on consolidated telemetry, advanced performance analytics, and proactive AI-powered anomaly detection.
- Validate Unified Console interfaces, dashboards, telemetry workflows, and data models leveraging on-the-ground customer environments and feedback.
- Produce demos and deliver training highlighting how Unified Console Observability and AI-enhanced insights empower teams to respond faster and operate smarter.
- Create thought leadership content showcasing F5's strengths in observability, proactive security, and AI-driven automation compared to competitors.
- Collaborate across teams to guide strategy, focusing on telemetry ingestion, dashboards, AI anomaly correlation, agentless observability, and cross-functional data integration.
- Provide expertise on application telemetry, BIG-IP LTM insights, syslog pipelines, MCP telemetry, and market trends in AI-ops observability.
- Evaluate competitor offerings in categories such as APM, NPM, SIEM, and AI-enhanced operations.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in Product Management, DevOps, Security Operations, or related technical customer-facing roles supporting XOps teams.
- 3+ years working with application, infrastructure, networking, or security operations solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Splunk, Datadog, ELK Stack, or similar tools.
- Experience in researching and analyzing trends or competitive offerings in observability, AI automation, or security-driven telemetry.
- Ability to articulate technical observability and AI concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders across DevOps, SecOps, AppOps, and NetOps teams.
- Strong grasp of telemetry concepts, including HTTP, OpenTelemetry, REST APIs, syslog analysis, and application behavior modeling.
- Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, ClickHouse, Splunk, or similar platforms for metrics, logs, and real-time analysis.
- Foundational knowledge of BIG-IP LTM, MCP telemetry integrations, and reverse proxy or load-balancing systems.
- Comfort working with AI/ML technologies to enable proactive operational insights or automation.
- Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical and operational gaps across diverse teams.
- Ability to distill complex data challenges into simple solutions, driving faster decision-making and measurable outcomes.
