Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 5 to 7 years of practical experience in vehicle dynamics, chassis engineering, or NVH within an OEM or Tier-1 supplier setting.
- Demonstrated skill in using ADAMS/Car or comparable MBD simulation platforms such as CarSim or VI-Grade.
- Solid knowledge of suspension kinematics and compliance (K&C), vehicle dynamics principles, and integration of chassis systems.
- Proven experience in developing and carrying out Design Verification Plans at both component and system levels.
Nice to Have
- Background in durability rig simulation including 3-post, 4-post, 6-post, and single-corner rigs, with ability to correlate simulation results to physical test data.
- Experience with metrology equipment and capability to conduct or assess basic physical measurements on mechanical parts.
- Exposure to finite element analysis tools like NASTRAN or ABAQUS for deriving and transferring structural loads to design teams.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR or model-based approaches to suspension control systems is advantageous.
- Work experience conducted within APQP, PPAP, or equivalent automotive development processes.
