Join Gameloft’s talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure. We're hiring a Technical Game Designer to contribute their skills to our innovative Dungeons & Dragons® PC/Console project. This game will blend Action-RPG and Survival features with unique life-simulation elements.
What You'll Do
- Support the design team in the integration and implementation of game systems under the supervision of the Lead Technical Game Designer.
- Participate in troubleshooting technical issues and flag those that require programmer intervention.
- Contribute to updating and maintaining resource databases and existing systems.
- Work with designers and programmers to define how features are implemented while respecting existing methodologies.
- Test, document, and improve internal tools according to the needs expressed by the team.
- Participate in evaluating game mechanics or features by identifying problems and proposing solutions.
- Write and share training guides or notes to support your colleagues.
- Plan and evaluate your work while keeping time, quality, and resource constraints in mind.
- Continue to develop your technical skills to better translate the team's needs into concrete solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Expertise in various scripting languages, such as C#, Lua, or Visual Scripting.
- Strong knowledge of the Unity game engine.
- Ownership, reliability, and thoroughness in your work.
- Ability to take initiative and maintain a strong work ethic.
- Good team communication skills.
- Ability to make good decisions based on production phases.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of another game engine is a plus.

Work Mode
