About the Role

Join Gameloft’s talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure. We're hiring a Technical Game Designer to contribute their skills to our innovative Dungeons & Dragons® PC/Console project. This game will blend Action-RPG and Survival features with unique life-simulation elements.

What You'll Do

  • Support the design team in the integration and implementation of game systems under the supervision of the Lead Technical Game Designer.
  • Participate in troubleshooting technical issues and flag those that require programmer intervention.
  • Contribute to updating and maintaining resource databases and existing systems.
  • Work with designers and programmers to define how features are implemented while respecting existing methodologies.
  • Test, document, and improve internal tools according to the needs expressed by the team.
  • Participate in evaluating game mechanics or features by identifying problems and proposing solutions.
  • Write and share training guides or notes to support your colleagues.
  • Plan and evaluate your work while keeping time, quality, and resource constraints in mind.
  • Continue to develop your technical skills to better translate the team's needs into concrete solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Expertise in various scripting languages, such as C#, Lua, or Visual Scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Unity game engine.
  • Ownership, reliability, and thoroughness in your work.
  • Ability to take initiative and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Good team communication skills.
  • Ability to make good decisions based on production phases.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of another game engine is a plus.

Work Mode
