At BAE Systems, we are dedicated to delivering solutions that support government customers' mission-critical objectives. We are looking for a Technical Editor to join our team and ensure our written products meet the highest standards of clarity, logic, and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Review written products, including Open Source Intelligence Reports, IT technical artifacts, policy documents, strategic communications, training materials, and website content for proper grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistent language.
- Collaborate with authors to revise content, ensuring adherence to style guides and classification protocols.
- Support leading the editorial process to ensure Intelligence Community publication standards are met.
- Support ensuring translation accuracy and collaborate with authors on narrative improvements and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business area with 3+ years of related experience and executive staff support within the last 2 years, or 7+ years total experience.
- For Mid-level: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience and recent executive support, or 10+ years total experience.
- For Senior: Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience and recent executive support, or Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years total experience.
- Prior military or government analytical experience.
- Prior experience in Information Security.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance.
- Must currently possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- U.S. Person and U.S. Citizenship required.
