BAE Systems is looking for a Technical Editor to ensure our intelligence products are clear, logical, and consistent. You will join a team dedicated to delivering mission-critical solutions that support vital government objectives.
What You'll Do
- Review written products, including Open Source Intelligence Reports, IT artifacts, policy documents, strategic communications, training materials, and website content for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and logic.
- Collaborate with authors to revise content and ensure adherence to style guides and classification protocols.
- Support leading the editorial process to ensure products meet IC publication standards.
- Support translation accuracy and collaborate with authors on narrative improvements and FDO compliance.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field like English or Communications from an accredited institution.
- 8 years of technical editing experience, with a portion within the last 2 years.
Nice to Have
- Intelligence Community experience.
- A Master’s degree.
