Valtech, the experience innovation company, is looking for a Technical Director to join our Commerce and Experience (XC) service line. You will serve as a strategic technology leader, driving architecture, delivery excellence, and innovation across complex, multi-region client engagements. Your role is instrumental in shaping scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that align with business goals and emerging technology trends.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and validation of enterprise-grade architectures across cloud, digital platforms, and AI-enabled ecosystems.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
- Serve as the final authority on technical feasibility, scalability, and integration strategy.
- Oversee technical delivery across global, cross-functional teams, ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction.
- Establish governance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and delivery KPIs.
- Act as a technical escalation point and unblock delivery teams when needed.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning efforts, including estimation, architecture design, and proposal development.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic technology partners and platform vendors.
- Mentor and coach technical leads, architects, and engineers across regions.
- Drive certification programs, learning plans, and career development initiatives.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, case studies, and reusable solution assets.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, preferably within a consulting or systems integration environment.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), enterprise architecture, and modern application development.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML integration, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Experience leading distributed teams and managing multi-million-dollar engagements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent certifications.
