BT is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to maintain and deliver estates that enable Operations. You will bring together the best networks and technology with the expertise of people to create new possibilities and develop special services, all within a security-focused team dedicated to protecting connections.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and deliver estates to enable Operations.
- Bring together networks, technology, and people expertise to create new possibilities and develop special services.
- Utilise expert skills from BT engineers and staff for successful project delivery.
- Engage with key customers to improve customer experience by delivering repair, provision, and service availability performance with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Manage escalations and work allocation while co-ordinating project delivery alongside the wider project team and other technical leads.
- Take ownership of requests for new projects and platform works from proposal generation and design concept through transition to in-life service operations.
- Help develop and support the pipeline of new projects and understand the impact on the workforce.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working on a range of projects with different complexities and client relationships, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to resolve complex problems, demonstrating strong leadership capability and the ability to motivate high performing teams.
- An experienced delivery agent, with specific experience of delivering all aspects of work to clients directly and delivery of significant and time critical products.
- Significant experience of leading and delivering complex projects, requiring management of short, medium and long-term timeframes.
- A high level of understanding of contractual commitments around delivery timescales and contractual obligations.
