Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Technical Analyst, CMDB, ITSM Generalist to ensure assigned application systems are fully operational and well-integrated into our information technology environment. You'll work with technical teams to monitor, analyze, and plan upgrades, ensuring functionality and stability meet the needs of our users.
What You'll Do
- Develop proficient competence for assigned services and systems while understanding their integration and interaction.
- Provide guidance and support for computing platforms and systems integration.
- Actively participate in processes to integrate end-user requests with software functionality.
- Contribute to analysis and recommendations relating to system performance and capacity to ensure reliability.
- Coordinate problem determination and resolution with vendors and manufacturers using diagnostic expertise.
- Respond thoroughly and promptly to customer needs, following issues through to closure.
- Support technical teams and customers with project and support activities effectively.
- Understand the business and clinical processes at NMHC and the operational environments of assigned customers.
- Communicate clearly, responsively, and purposely with customers and team members.
- Assist with projects in the planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of application software code.
- Analyze business requirements, recommend system changes, write technical specifications, and implement systems.
- Provide support including the identification and implementation of NMHC best practice standards.
- Mentor and act as a resource for Associate Analysts and other application team members.
- Focus on IS team success and promote collaborative efforts with others.
- Shift among different support and project roles as required.
- Adapt well to rapid change and multiple priorities.
- Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository.
- Provide on-call support.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of technical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in the core discipline within the healthcare industry.
