Sentara Health is hiring a Technical Account Manager to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will be the key technical point of contact for our enterprise healthcare customers, ensuring they successfully implement, adopt, and derive value from our solutions. You will translate complex technical concepts and act as a bridge between clients and our internal engineering and product teams.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for a portfolio of enterprise healthcare clients.
- Conduct regular technical business reviews to assess client health, usage, and opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with internal product and engineering teams to advocate for client needs and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and training to enhance client understanding and adoption.
- Proactively identify risks to client satisfaction and collaborate on mitigation plans.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a technical account management, solutions engineering, or customer success role within a technology or healthcare IT environment.
- Proven ability to manage and grow relationships with large, complex enterprise clients.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and discuss software architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHR/EMR, HL7, healthcare data standards).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Project management or ITIL certification.
