Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is looking for a Tech Transfer - Process Engineer to join the MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) team. In this onsite role based in Martillac (33), you will be responsible for industrial technology transfer and scale-up projects for new monoclonal antibody (Mab) molecules, covering upstream cell culture (USP) and downstream purification (DSP). You will provide scientific and technical support to Production teams while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the technical and organizational feasibility of process transfers into production, guaranteeing robustness, timeline, cost, safety, regulatory, and documentation aspects.
- Define material and consumable requirements for production batch execution.
- Provide scientific and technical expertise during the technology transfer phase of new processes and during routine manufacturing.
- Ensure close collaboration with manufacturing teams on the shop floor to support batches (e.g., introduction of new technologies or processes, technical support for issues).
- Produce operational and technical documents (protocols, reports, plans, procedures) related to technology transfer, process monitoring, and process improvement.
- Be proactive and work cross-functionally with development/production teams to develop new technologies, implement new equipment, participate in project meetings, and act as the point of contact for production follow-up.
- Participate in drafting schedules for project-related documentation.
- Proactively lead investigations following complex production deviations during new product introductions and routine manufacturing operations.
- Implement changes and continuous improvement activities (Change control, CAPA).
- Ensure process robustness and promote standardization of practices through strong technical and scientific skills.
What We're Looking For
- A Bac +5 level (Master's degree or equivalent) in a scientific field.
- Strong technical knowledge in cell culture production (USP) and/or purification (DSP) for biotechnology products (Monoclonal Antibodies).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an MSAT department or in pharmaceutical production/development.
- Ability to work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficiency in communication and project management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Command of Professional English (ability to produce texts in English and communicate regularly with foreign counterparts).
- Excellent relational skills to interact constructively with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to support change and work in a dynamic environment.

You will be an integral part of the MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) team, collaborating closely with development and production teams to ensure successful technology transfers and process improvements.
