Drive technical direction and implementation for web-based products and browser extensions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and user-centric design.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of core web applications
- Oversee design and maintenance of Chrome extensions
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Mentor engineers to improve code quality and system design
- Ensure alignment between engineering and product goals
- Drive best practices in testing, security, and performance
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies when appropriate
- Manage technical debt and system scalability
- Coordinate with UX and frontend teams for seamless integration
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Promote engineering excellence across distributed teams
- Define metrics for product performance and reliability
- Work closely with data and backend teams for full-stack integration
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
- Optimize frontend performance and load efficiency
- Guide technical decisions with data-driven insights
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Respond to critical production incidents
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Participate in strategic planning for product evolution
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements
- Collaborate on A/B testing and feature rollouts
- Support onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members
