Responsibilities
- Deliver technical leadership across the full lifecycle of Product Domain projects, covering design, integration, development, and deployment.
- Convert business and product needs into detailed technical blueprints that adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
- Assess technology choices and trade-offs to ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and viable long-term.
- Promote the use of AI-powered tools for coding, code refactoring, and documentation to improve developer efficiency and reduce legacy system burdens.
- Lead solution delivery from concept through deployment and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business leaders to align technology direction with product goals and strategic priorities.
- Foster trust and cooperation across departments to enable alignment and drive innovation.
- Partner with architects and IT teams to define and maintain technical standards, processes, and domain roadmaps.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective use of resources and on-time delivery of initiatives.
- Identify paths to modernize, streamline, and transform applications onto simplified, contemporary platforms.
- Lead efforts to reengineer processes and implement new technologies that improve operational performance.
- Explore and apply Generative AI for extracting knowledge, generating documentation, and migrating code from outdated systems.
- Support financial planning for new product rollouts by ensuring technology supports regulatory and fiscal requirements.
- Ensure all technical deliverables meet functional needs and comply with security, quality, and architectural standards.
- Manage project cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling for domain-related initiatives.
- Supervise release and testing procedures to maintain high delivery quality.
- Define and enforce best practices for AI governance, model validation, and ethical AI use in mainframe-based product development.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on progress, risks, and technical direction.
